Traveling down the Pacific Ocean Highway to the San Diego area, you will get a chance to stop off at famous Hadley's Ranch Market to pick up and taste their very famous dates along with many different types of nuts and dried fruits. Our guests always rave about their 'date shakes'
As we enter San Diego we'll stop off for lunch at 'Old Town' and a visit to the famous Pio Pico Hacienda which has been turned into a brilliantly colorful and musical marketplace. It has been renamed 'Bazaar del Mundo'. There will be wares to look at and purchase. Many specialty items have been selected from around the world and are here for you to take home. There will be many historical sites to visit once on this property, and there will be several choices of just where to eat while here. We have our favorite restaurant here too where the margaritas just literally jump into your mouth. They are so delicious and picturesque. We can't wait to get there. Come and enjoy a friendly fiesta at one of San Diego's most beautiful gardens and graceful courtyards.
Then on to the famous Seaport Village which is located in San Diego Bay along the waterfront where more shopping and dining can take place for you. Take a step back in time with a setting of the turn of the century architecture, along with the winding walks and shops that appear, form the outside, to be from the past. There's even a 1890's Looff carousel here. Lively music and street performers appear to be everywhere. The sun, the sea, and the bayside boardwalk will beacon you to relax and enjoy this wonderful day that is planned here for you.
