Wireless Access
Wireless access will be provided by via the campus wireless network.
The campus wireless network covers the entire commons area.
- To configure your laptop for wireless access do the following:
- Open your wireless configuration and enter network name (or SSID) : mobilenet
- Open a web browser and navigate to any website and you will be redirected to the wireless network registration page.
- Enter one of the UCR net IDs and passwords provided on the computing services handout in your conference bag.
Computer Access
The UCR Learning Center computer lab has been reserved for use by conference attendees.
There are 27 Windows 2000 PC's available with SSH (PuTTY) installed. Printing is also available in the lab.
The Learning Center is located on the first floor of the Surge building directly across from the University Lecture Hall.
The computer lab will be open at the following times:
Fri Aug 27 7:30 am to 5:30 pm
Sat Aug 28 7:30 am to 5:30 pm
Mon Aug 30 7:30 am to 5:30 pm
Tue Aug 31 7:30 am to 5:30 pm
